DRAWING OUT DREAMS
A fourth part blackwork series created for the "SupermART" Exhibition.
For a long time I have been factinatet of the power a simple black + white design can have.
It features the "Bearded Lady", "Underwater survival", "Combs of Fears" & "Brewing Poison".
Brainfood Cookbook
Accenture was one of the first companies that offered a whole section in their canteen with only brainfood options.
One of the "works council" colleagues also held workshops and seminars on how to eat properly and mostly how to nurture your brain.
I provided him over the years with the designs for his workshops.
I combined the infographics and the knowledge out of the material gathered and decided to design as a creative fun project, a cookbook.

Bayer Newsletter
Industry X.O was the department in accenture that I used to work for. It was newly put together.*
Inside of Accenture, a company that is 500.000 people strong, they had to make themselves known.*
Our Creative department was sent a 95 big PPT slider that explained what the department had accomplished and what they (we) are doing.
This handout should be beautified from us and then sent worldwide across accenture.
I thought that the odds of people going through such a big power point document where not that high.
So I created this poster additionally, out of the most important 25 slides and put together something that the industry X.O department could send not only in the email newsletter but also could send to the accenture offices as an eye catcher.

Nadine Stoehr Logo
In designing my new website, I decided to make a new logo and document the process.
I started sketching and playing with ideas, then I picked 3 of my favorites and realized them in Illustrator with different variations.
In the end, the logo I chose was the one that worked best with my overall aesthetic.

Wasteless App
The Wasteless app was created during one of the project weeks during my time at the Cimdata Academy.
Wasteless helps you reduce your plastic consume and waste step by step.
Set self-determined weekly goals and keep track of your current consumption. In addition to, the by experts approved and verified recipes, you will find links to articles, infographics, statistics and you can share your own ideas with the wasteless community and your friends on social media.
Control products in retail by the code scanner revealing information about climate neutrality of the article.
(Future function. Find unwrapped shops and low waste restaurants near you.)
WHAT DOES THE APP?
The app is for everyone that wants to reduce there platic consumpition
WHICH USERS WANT TO BE REACHED?
Environmentally conscious people or anyone who wants to become one. Minimalists and bargain hunters. Hobbyists and tinkerers. Blogger and trendsetter.
WHAT PROBLEMS DO POTENTIAL USERS HAVE THAT THEY TRY TO SOLVE WITH THE APP?
Many people would like to live more environmentally conscious but do not knowing how exactly they can start and which behavior would be the right one. The health factor is also a major problem. Microplastics are found in many foods and also products that we use on the body. There are also many templates for alternative products on the Internet, but these are mostly not tested or verified. There are also people who would like to limit their consumption and want to live more minimalist.
WHAT ADDED VALUE DOES THE APP GENERATE FOR THE PERSONAS?
In climate-critical times, the app gives its users a piece of control. Small steps often result in big ones, and bad conscience is somewhat calmed down by weeks of success. The app also offers users the opportunity to find out about their consumption, use dermatological and tested product recipes, exchange ideas with like-minded people and inspire others for plastic fasting by sharing their successes and recipes.
ARE THERE ALREADY SIMILAR, COMPARABLE APPS? HOW DOES YOUR APP STAND OUT FROM THE COMPETITION ON THE MARKET?
Codecheck - controls food according to content and also microplastics, but without information on how climate neutral or harmful the product is summarized.
Replace Plastic - send messages to manufacturers wishing to make this product poorer in plastic
Zero waste - shows you unpackaged shops in your area.
There are some apps that deal with the topic of garbage and plastic consumption, but there is hardly one that supplies DIY recipes to replace yourself. There is also a tip page in the Fun Facts, Infographics and Statistics section, which provides users with valuable information quickly and easily.
WHAT MAKES THEM MORE ATTRACTIVE THAN THE COMPETING PRODUCTS?
More information. Tested products. More extensive support. Reward system and goals that can be set. Crisp information that is easily noticeable.
WHAT IS THE UNIQUE SELLING POINT?
1. Dermatological and Verified Recipes
2. Creation of goals that are clearly and with statistics
3. Code scanner of the info gives how positive or negative the product is for the environment and gives tips what would be better.

MYBOARD WEBSITE & APP
This was a two day long challenge , plus one additional day for refining my website. This was one of my first attempts in UX.
The task was to create an app and/or website where you have some sort of online pinboard and use UX methods to help create this side.
The task: Find a Persona, conduct interviews, validate the outcome, make sketches, design 2 sides of the website.
I completed these tasks, determined a name, and designed a logo and slogan. I also did screens for the mobile version.
The result was a website where you could save pictures from different sites, place them on your board & if you click on them get back to the original site they where picked.

Portraits
I am fascinated with people and are always drawn to them.
That's part of the reason I love to draw and paint portraits.
At Art School, I did most of my drawings by hand but these days i create most of my pictures in Photoshop or in Procreate on my Ipad pro.

Linoleum Cuttings
With working all day on my computer and drawing so much digitally, it is very important and fulfilling for me to also express myself
creatively on a medium where I must use my hands and get dirty from time to time.
With linocut, I love that you need to really think about the steps ahead (or you end up with a blackfaced mermaide), and mistakes can't just be corrected by going a couple steps back.
Linocut is my form of meditation and hours can go by as I dive in to the process.

Dmexco Workshop Handout
As part of a DMEXCO Workshop, I collaborated with Accenture to prepare the following UX Design. DMEXCO is a community for key players in digital business, marketing, and innovation—bringing together industry leaders, marketing and media professionals, and tech pioneers. We prepared this UX Design to present at the DMEXCO Workshop.
For this assignment, Accenture provided the prompt, including key tasks, and I created the user interface. I wanted my design to be clear, simple, and understandable for even those who have little or no formal knowledge of UX Design. I provided detailed descriptions of each persona, including pictures, to help workshop participants visualize our target consumers.
In addition to meeting the task requirements, I also added a user-friendly design feature: the note pages are removable and can be torn out for easy access. At the end, the note pages can be re-integrated to complete the document. Together with Accenture, we were awarded first place in competition for our completion of the task.

Why and What
Hi I am Nadine, I am a UX/UI Designer with a knack for turning complicated problems into simple and elegant solutions. With a background in visual design and project management, I have a critical and creative eye which inspires my refined aesthetic.
I have 8 years of experience working as a designer for a multinational consulting and technology group, but my qualifications don’t end there. From illustration and video editing to search engine optimization, I have explored many fields and am constantly encouraged to experiment with different tools and mediums.
I get the most satisfaction from designing solutions that are as comprehensive as they are beautiful. From usability testing, journey mapping, wireframing and prototyping, research synthesis, and more.
I am proficient in programs such as Adobe: XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere; Sketch, InVision, Figma, Marvel, Keynote, Powerpoint, as well as HTML/CSS on Microsoft and Mac OS.
For me, UX/UI Design is all about simplifying. I love creating innovative and straight-forward products that optimize user needs and business goals in a meaningful and uncomplicated way.
